WORKSHOP AGENDA:
9 AM - Noon School Grounds Techniques
We’ll share methods and techniques that
will work in any outdoor location, even the
most urban schoolyard. There will be
plenty of hands-on activities.
1 PM - 4 PM Field Trip Techniques
We’ll head out to the park’s “back country”
for some wilder nature discovery! Enjoy
methods for sharing nature learning in
forests, fields, and creeks
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Be sure to come dressed ready to be outdoors! If
you are coming to the afternoon session, be sure
to wear old clothes and old tennis shoes! We will
be getting our feet wet and muddy in the creek!
This workshop is provided as a free service to
teachers, youth leaders, and others who work
with young people. There is no cost to attend,
and you will gain many new educational ideas!

enough handouts and materials for all
participants.
